What is Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a state of altered awareness during which our subconscious mind is more open to receiving suggestions for change. We drift in and out of different levels of awareness many times a day, absorbing information on a subliminal level as well as a conscious one. Our brain is a bit like a computer, the things that are hardwired into it can be difficult to change on a conscious level. I can help you to bypass your conscious critical mind so that you can make profound changes that can become your new normal.

Hypnotherapy is a safe, relaxing modality of therapy that has improved the wellbeing of millions of people around the world. Whether your desire is to improve your mindset, your mental health, or to change a behaviour, hypnotherapy can help give your subconscious a voice so you can gain a greater awareness of the root causes of your problems and experience healing and empowerment when you choose a brighter path. Life is all about the choices we make but sometimes it isn't as simple as just choosing to make a change. You have to explore why you are where you are, what needs to shift in order to get to where you want to be, and how to draw on your inner power to achieve the results you desire.

There are no guarantees to how each individual will progress, however in my experience I have found that those who are committed and motivated can achieve great success. If you're only seeking support to change a behaviour someone else wants you to change (such as smoking) then hypnotherapy won't work for you. You have to be committed to making the change and willing to do the work to make that change happen. You are the key to your success and being motivated and committed from start to finish is going to allow you to get the best out of your sessions. No one can be hypnotised to do something they don't want to do. You are in complete control the whole time and for many people, trance is more like a deeply relaxed state, similar to the ten minutes before you fall asleep or just after you wake up. You will hear everything I say, even converse with me (sometimes with signals instead of words) and your subconscious mind will remember everything but choose the parts that are the most important for your conscious mind to remember clearly.
